Flatwater Shakespeare’s "A Midsummer Night’s Dream"
Tours the city of Lincoln June 30 – July 10

After "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" closes at the Lincoln Community Foundation Garden on June 26, the Flatwater Shakespeare Company will take the show on tour to parks and other outdoor locations around Lincoln. It will play at 7:00 p.m. will be offered free of charge. Freewill donations will be accepted.
The tour has been organized by the show’s properties master, Dustin Witte, and movement director, Daniel Kubert, with the help of Dave Bomberger of Lincoln Parks. This touring version will feature the entire cast of the Gardens production, directed by Bob Hall, and abridged for a 120-minute running time without intermission. Audience members should bring lawn chairs, cushions, or blankets to sit on. Free ice cream will be provided by Ivanna Cone, 701 P Street.

The Lincoln Municipal Band will honor those individuals who have served in our nation's armed services. This annual program will feature selections specific to each brand of the armed forces, as well as music representative of and dedicated to military service. This concert will take place at the John Shildneck Bandshell in Antelope Park, Lincoln.
