Call For Artists Living in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota

northeast community collegeNebraska Arts Council, Wayne State College and Northeast Community College announce a new 1% for Art Project call for artists living in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. The project committee is looking for two-dimensional artwork to display in the new College Center building in South Sioux City, NE.  The desired artworks’ subject matter/theme will best reflect the culture and interests of the College Center learning community and regional area.  This call is for both artwork available for direct purchase and for artist qualifications for possible commission works.

Total budget:  $30,000. (Budget intended to allow for purchase/possible commission of multiple works; exact number to be selected for project depends on artwork applications received.)

Application deadline: August 2, 2010
