Community Arts Partners Objectives

  1. To train nonprofit arts organizations in ways to improve their business practices.
  2. To provide rewarding opportunities for business leaders who want to become more directly involved with the arts and to give back to the community.

Community Arts Partners have helped to develop marketing plans, business plans and strategic plans. One arts organization received assistance with setting up simple accounting procedures and nonprofit financial accounting policies. Other arts groups have worked with professionals on drafting surveys for audience development.

Our special thanks to Woods Charitable Fund, Inc. for their initial support of the Community Arts Partners project.

In 2009 the Lincoln Arts Council received a generous gift from the estate of Ken Good, a portion of which was used to redevelop our website and establish an endowment. We offer our heart-felt thanks to Kenneth J. Good for his generosity and vision for a beautiful future.
