Kevin Clark is a home-grown professional from drafting and architecture classes at East High to UNL where he received his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He has been an architect for 25 years, the majority of which with Sinclair-Hille. In 2010, he formed Clark Architectural Collaborative 3. The “3” refers to his working trinity: owner, creative team and faith. His artistry in design and renovation is evident in a number of churches including St. Thomas/Newman Center on the UNL Campus. St. Thomas follows a classic cathedral theme with intricate mural decoration, antique liturgical furniture and a massive stained glass display created in Munich, Germany. Kevin became the first “Team Sponsor” for Art Makes Me SmART. in 2015 working with Lincoln High photography teacher, Yvonne Meyer to facilitate “A Sense of Place” for the advanced photography class. Kevin gives generously of time and talent to share his personal story with students and inspire them to greater confidence and achievement through arts experiences otherwise unavailable to them.
