About Philip

Philip Perry is the CEO of Perry Reid Properties where he has been actively involved in the development and management of multifamily housing properties since the early 1980’s. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in art at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He was the acting assistant director to Norman Geske at the Sheldon Art Museum for one year. Phil has continued making art since his college days. He has a potter’s wheel and kiln in his studio along with easels for painting but he spends the majority of his time with photography. His photographs have won awards and have sold with proceeds going to charity. He travels extensively in and outside the United States in pursuit of his photographic interest.  His most recent efforts have been in documenting the cityscapes and people of Cuba. As a means of giving back to the entities that helped him succeed, he continues to support the arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the Sheldon Art Museum and the community.
