About Eileen

Eileen is a native Lincolnite, and a graduate of UNL with a degree in Geography a background in retail employment.  When no opportunities arose in the field of Geography, Brewster took many jobs working in shoes stores, bike shops, bookstores and a memorable summer driving the train at the Children’s Zoo.  That year, she jumped at the chance to apply for a job at the School of Music with the Kimball Performing Arts Series. Starting at three-quarter time, she eventually became the ticket office manager.  When the Lied Center became a reality, she moved to the Ticket Office Manager for that new facility where she worked until her retirement at the end of 2017.

She marvels that 35 years of working in this business have passed so quickly. But she feels very fortunate to have worked in an inspiring and exiting environment with a team of wonderfully talented and dedicated people.  She says, “They are the reason that the Lied is the success it is.”
