The 37th Annual Mayor’s Arts Awards were held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. This year, the theme was “Masterpiece Lincoln,” highlighting 16 of the best artists, performers, and organizations that Lincoln has to offer. To start the night, winning group "Penguin Project" wowed the audience with a small live production featuring the songs: “Under the Sea,” from which they will be performing in their upcoming show, The Little Mermaid, Jr., and “Don’t Stop Believing.” Each award winner was then highlighted in short video interviews, and Mayor Chris Beutler presented the 2015 award winners with a plaque for their achievements.
