FREE Residency for Emerging Visual Artist & Writer

One visual artist and one writer will each have the opportunity for a two-week working retreat at The Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts in Nebraska City. Sponsored by the Richard P. Kimmel and Laurine Kimmel Charitable Foundation, the residency includes room and board, a private work space, networking opportunities with fellow resident artists and a $1,000 stipend.
Only emerging artists working in Lincoln, Nebraska, through year-end 2017 will be considered for this year's award. Award winners will be chosen by panelists in March.
An application including the application form and support materials must be received by Lincoln Arts Council, 1701 South 17th Street #1A, Lincoln, NE 68502 by February 15, 2017. Application materials and guidelines are available at www.artscene.org. There is no application fee to apply. Award winners will be notified by the Lincoln Arts Council and recognized at the Lincoln Mayors Arts Awards in June 2017.
