Give a little, Get a LOT!!

Lincoln Arts Festival Volunteer-in-trainingThe Lincoln Arts Festival is just around the corner and we are calling out to all of you who would like to lend a hand in helping make this year's arts festival be the best yet! Last year more than 10,000 attended this remarkable event! We need your help have yet another fun, clean and successful festival! The following are the areas for which we will need volunteers:

Set up and Tear Down: Volunteers are needed Friday, September 23rd from 8am - 12 noon to unpack and set up 10'x20' tents, chairs, and tables. Also needed for tear down on Sunday, September 25th from 5pm - 9pm or until finished.

Patron Breakfast: Volunteers are needed Saturday, September 24th from 7am - 9am to dress and decorate tables for the patron breakfast.

Artist Check-in: Volunteers needed for two hour increments between 12pm & 8pm Friday, September 23rd and between 7am & 9am Saturday, September 24th. Duties will include greeting artists as they arrive, checking them into the festival, and distributing artist handbooks. Volunteers will also become familiar with the festival layout, parking rules and traffic flow.

Booth Sitters: Volunteers needed on Saturday, September 24th for two hour increments between 10am & 6pm and Sunday, September 25th for two hour increments between 10am & 5pm. Duties will include manning artists' booths to allow short breaks as needed, staffing the hospitality tent to provide refreshments to artists.

Interactive Art Tent for Kids: Volunteers are needed for two-hour increments between 8am – 6pm, Saturday, September 24th and between 10am – 6pm on Sunday, September 25th to assist children with art making, setup of activities and clean up at the end of the Festival.

Survey and Attendance: Volunteers are needed Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th from 10am - 5pm to conduct surveys of where festival-goers are from and to also count attendance.
