Heart of the Arts Award

Leadership comes in many forms. And so does inspiration. Claire Hoppe brought both of these to her friends and the arts community as well. As a tireless volunteer, a generous supporter, and an extraordinarily thorough attendee, Claire taught us how the arts are capable of enriching a whole life. Virtually every arts venue and discipline in Lincoln benefited from her attendance and support. We’re sorry this award comes a little late, not least because she loved a good party, but Claire’s zest for life should be celebrated and serve as a model for those of us who believe that the arts are essential to a well rounded life. We should all live so well, laugh so much and share our gifts as joyfully. Thanks Claire, for being the Heart of the Arts.
