The K-12 Art Practicum students in Jean Detlefesen’s course, Curriculum Principles in Secondary Art, are proud to present an exhibition titled, “Teaching ARTists”.  The exhibition will run October 29 to November 10, 2012 in the Rotunda Gallery in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Union. Artists will be present for a First Friday reception on November 2, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The practicum students that will be exhibiting their artwork are currently working towards completing teaching endorsements in K-12 Art Education.  As part of their coursework, students have been asked to present a series of pieces of artwork that represent themselves as artists and as teachers.

Participating Artists: Christina Dickhaut, Lucy Myrtue, Michelle Clifford, Sarah Linn, Heather Campbell, Marisa Esch, Sarah Becker, Bailey Kinney, Mollie Magnuson, David Brawner, Kelli Dornbos, Olivia Leblanc, Alexander Kolbo, Blair Bauer, Megan Brudney, Anna Minnick

Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of our future art educators.  Refreshments will be provided.
The Rotunda Gallery is located in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Union at 14th & R Street and is open to the public 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
