Mourning Hope is a wonderful Lincoln organization that offers resources for children who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We were proud to partner with them this year at Camp Erin, their overnight bereavement camp this weekend. Artist Tom Meyers created one of his megaportraits with the attendees, everyone contributing mosaic squares to bring together a large, inspiring image. Once again, art allowed shared experience to bring people together.
Later this year, Mourning Hope caregivers will add to the megaportrait, and LAC will also donate an artist to their Holiday Hope celebration in December.
