Arts Roundtable Meetings

Throughout the year, LAC hosts an arts round table for artists and arts organizations. Recent topics have included working artist resources, how the arts contribute to economic vitality in Lincoln, and PR for Artists. Knowledgeable and interesting presenters addressing relevant and timely topics make this a valuable opportunity for all who participate!

Locations and Topics for 2019

2019: Foundry, 2nd Floor Narnia Room, Wednesday, November 6, 2019 with UNL Center for Entrepreneurship Director Sam Nelson.

Do you sometimes feel stuck in your arts business or arts organization? Do you wonder where your growth potential might come from?

At our November Arts Roundtable UNL Center for Entrepreneurship Director Sam Nelson will discuss how to, as an arts business or arts organization, approach the future with an entrepreneurial mindset. Sam will also gather your ideas about resources the University of Nebraska might make available to help you approach the art world with a new entrepreneurial point of view.

Please RSVP to ensure your space and materials. Quarterly Arts Round Tables are organized by the Lincoln Arts Council as a free opportunity for information, resources and networking. You are welcome to bring your lunch if you’d like to eat during the meeting. Ideas for future round table topics or locations are always welcome. Troy Gagner, troy@artscene.org, 402-434-2787.
