Quarterly Arts Roundtable

Four times each year, LAC hosts an arts round table for artists and arts organizations. Recent topics have included working artist resources, how the arts contribute to economic vitality in Lincoln, visiting brand new art installations. Knowledgeable and interesting presenters addressing relevant and timely topics make this a valuable opportunity for all who participate!

PR 101 for Artists and Entrepreneurs – How to get publicity for your art, event or organization.

Learn how to get publicity for an event, a new book, or your unique art form. Join Lincoln artist Linda Stephen, who has been featured in news stories from Beatrice to New York City to Kyoto, who will share tips for artists and “art-repreneurs” on how to prepare for and get interviews and articles on your art or event.

As a branding and public relations professional, Linda has worked with more than 100 authors, 10 book publishers, and dozens of architects, designers, illustrators, sculptors and visual artists across the country. She is currently working with a bronze sculptor, an abstract painter, a songwriter and a children’s book publisher – in Lincoln and across the U.S.  When she lived in New York, she launched technology start-ups as well as new programs for United Nations agencies.
