I currently work as a professional artist and adjunct professor of art at Friends University in Wichita, KS. I specialize in fine art printmaking techniques and have exhibited my work both nationally and internationally.
I am fine art print-maker working in both relief and etching printmaking techniques. The image I wish to create is first hand carved onto a piece of plywood (relief) or etched into copper (etching). Ink is then applied to the plate and run through a hand cranked printing press. All of my relief prints are also color reliefs so a separate plate is created for each color and then printed one on top of the other to build up the layers of color.
