I graduated with a BFA in art with high distinction at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I work with various printmaking processes such as screen-printing, intaglio and mono printing and dabble in drawing and multimedia. My work has been shown in the United States, Egypt, and Italy.
I work with printmaking processes, specifically etchings and screen prints; creating line drawings that translate to a copper plate or screen, inked up and printed. While my work acts as an homage to the substrate I am printing on (paper), I am more interested in what plants tell us about ourselves. Our cultural differences, truth, and community all play roles in the ideas of my work.
