We were proud to sponsor Bryan Hospital’s April Sampson Cancer Center’s Art and Garden Festival last weekend. The Center was built to be open, bright, and inviting — and filled with art. The result is a building that doesn’t feel anything like a hospital. It’s an inspirational achievement.
The Art and Garden Festival featured the work of local artists, and visitors were encouraged to walk the halls to view the art, a collection that is curated by Radiation Oncologist Dr. Mark Stavas, who gave a moving talk about the power of art and architecture to heal. There were also talks by three prominent Lincoln artists: Aaron Holz, Francisco Soto, and Lolri J. Thomas.
