Thanks to several generous benefactors and many supporters, the Lincoln Arts Council has raised $40,000 since our recovery campaign began. This has allowed us to bring on an Executive Director who can forge ahead with fundraising, strategic planning, grant applications, and building a new board.
The new Executive Director is Robert Goldberg, who previously oversaw all the upstart Arts Access programs. Amanda Hein, who until now has held the title of Accountant, will have an expanded role and will work with Robert as the Director of Operations and Finance.
Our attention will now turn towards determining our programming focus in order to apply for appropriate grant funds. Our immediate determination priority is whether to present the Mayor’s Arts Awards and the Lincoln Arts Festival moving forward. We will no longer produce Lincoln Calling.
