Has there ever been a better time to celebrate?

Here are seven reasons to come down to the all-new 2021 Lincoln Arts Festival!

1. You don’t want to miss out on the Fun.
We’ve been isolated from friends, family, fun and the arts for more than a year. The Lincoln Arts Festival is your chance to reconnect with others in a safe, friendly outdoor environment while nourishing your soul in a way only the arts can. Reconnect with your community. Reconnect with Arts. Your soul needs it.

2. The Festival is all new.
It’s an all-new Festival and the place to be for creators and appreciators to see the best Lincoln has to offer in 2021! The 20th Lincoln Arts Festival is moving to Canopy Street & the Railyard in Lincoln’s historic Haymarket, the city’s entertainment destination! This year’s Festival is a creative celebration and exploration of the arts.

3. Artists, artists and more artists.
The Festival features nearly 90 artists from across the country working in a variety of mediums including clay, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed-media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood.

4. Creative zones for interactive art experiences.
Four separate upstArt creative zones are fun, interactive art experiences designed to spark the talents in Lincoln’s art lovers. Built around our upstArt art engagement programming, we are nurturing the next generation of artists through partnerships with leading art organizations and programs in the city such as ArtBus Lincoln, Pincurl Girls and others.

5. Local artists and makers.
The Festival is also a celebration of our local talent. Every year the Lincoln Arts Festival features a variety of seasoned and emerging artists from Lincoln and the surrounding area. Check out your local favorites or meet Lincoln’s emerging talent at the Emerging Artist area featuring four artists new to the Festival world. And for the first time ever, the Festival will feature a local Makers Market in partnership with the South of Downtown Community Development Organization.

6. Performances.
In addition to providing 90+ visual artists and makers a space to showcase their works and wares, the Festival also presents free performances by local artists and performers. Scheduled performances by local musicians, dancers, and other performers will be augmented by other spontaneous performances throughout the Festival.

7. Art Demonstrations.
Ever wanted to watch an artist blow glass, paint live or develop large format photographs? The Festival will feature a variety of arts demonstrations to give you an inside look at how art is created.
