The heart of our KidstArt programming are our afterschool clubs for kids in Title I schools. We are proud to be working at 31 schools this year — sixteen of them this semester, and 15 next. Clubs run for 6 to 14 weeks, providing enriching, fun arts instruction to kids enrolled in their school’s CLC program.
After school programming provides students with a safe, supportive environment to continue learning, exploring interests, and building valuable life skills beyond the regular school day. These programs foster academic achievement, boost confidence, and encourage positive peer relationships. By offering enrichment arts activities, after school programs help children stay engaged, reduce risky behaviors, and promote healthy social and emotional development. For working families, they also offer peace of mind by ensuring children are cared for and supervised during critical afternoon hours.
