Art @ Metro Art Gallery Volunteer Position
The Metro Art Gallery in downtown Lincoln is opening their new location and they’re looking for volunteers to assist in extending store hours! Volunteers would be provided with a space to paint during shifts, space to sell within the gallery, and all the coffee they can drink!
Priorities are currently to fill Friday and Saturday shifts from noon to midnight (12pm-12am!) and then extend the schedule to weekdays, 12-5pm! Responsibilities are minimal- the new Metro Art Gallery operates on a very independent POS system, meaning you’re primarily responsible for general space security and answering questions about that system!

Interest Form for Artist Studios
The Lincoln Arts Council, through the Blank Canvas Program, is looking to increase the number of available art studios in Lincoln. Understanding what artists want helps us secure the right locations and build workable programming. Taking a few minutes to fill out this survey helps us build these studios and means you’ll be the first to know when the studios become available.
Art Markets in Tower Square
Arts Markets are an easy and affordable way to start your path as an independent artist! The Arts Council is looking to expand their market programming in 2025, but in the meantime, we’ve got a few more markets in Tower Square yet in the summer of 2024! If interest, sign up here!
