On a mission to support disabled artists through creative expression, representation, and community partnerships, Live Yes Studios is a community arts-based program under the nonprofit organization Resources for Human Development.

Through an organization-wide commitment to supporting adults with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities, Live Yes offers students a structured day program with a professional studio environment. The program’s instructors work together with resident artists to offer clients opportunities for learning, artistic growth, collaboration, and gallery exhibition. From volunteering their time to the city, to networking with people in the local community to integrate their clients into the workforce, to teaching social skills necessary to their clients’ success, the program’s art instructors instill more than arts skills into program participants.

Live Yes Studios does more than foster creativity; the program forges meaningful connections, develops essential skills, and, subsequently, promotes success among aspiring artists–no matter their background.
