Last Thursday, artists, organizations, and project leaders came together at the Lincoln Commercial Club for the Lincoln Arts 45th Annual Mayor’s Arts Awards to recognize their creative work and impact on the arts community.

The Lincoln Arts Council (LAC) announced today the individuals and organizations to be honored at the 45th annual Mayor’s Arts Awards the evening of Thursday, October 26 at the Lincoln Commercial Club.

Lincoln Arts is saddened to learn of arts champion, talented accompanist, and our 2022 Heart of the Arts Award recipient Jean Patoka’s passing. Driven by her love for music and for helping others, Jean taught piano, led choirs, wrote parodies, and more.

We have a date! The 43rd annual Mayor’s Arts Awards is coming to Lincoln Friday, October 28. Mark your calendars and get ready for a night of arts, talent, and, of course, celebration, at the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts!
